I have witnessed first hand their dedication to the understanding of the VGB Act and the manufacturing of the products needed to comply with the VGB Act in our industry - the Atlanta Apartment and Hotel Industry.

All manufacturers of white goods and "safety products" were in attendance at our local APSP meetings and all of the "BIG GUYS", while they were represented, were embarrassingly out of touch with the new Federal Law coming down the pipes.

Not only were their products far short of the mark in terms of compliance requirements and the variety of scenarios we find in the commercial market, all of the reps from the "BIG GUYS" were embarrassingly ill informed of product requirements, release dates and the nuances of what is required to be compliant. I was proud of the "little guy" AquaStar and their command of the new law. In particular, I was impressed with the dedication they applied to trying to meet the crazy demand within the even crazier time frame.

Wade, Olaff and the entire AquaStar crew shine like diamonds in the rough amongst their so called competition by being 7 steps ahead of the rest.

With the forward thinking spec's allowing for only 3" sumps in a 12x12 application (as opposed to the competitors' 1.5 times diameter of main drain line) to the equalizer fittings able to slip into the more common sized plumbing without requiring surgery to the high as possible flow rates, AquaStar is a leader in the field of VGB Compliance.

Being a fan of the underdog, I am now a big fan of AquaStar and insist that theirs is the only brand of suction covers we install.

We have been doing business with Aquastar Pool Products for a little more than a year now. They were proactive regarding the Virginia Graeme baker Act, being one of the first, if not the first, to have product available for sale that was approved under the guidelines of the Act.

We've found them to be knowledgeable, professional and very accommodating throughout this brief yet prosperous relationship. They work hard to ship in a timely manner and returning merchandise couldn't be easier as well as cost effective. In fact, they gave us credit towards our old non-certified drain covers. No other supplier did that.

The other advantage they have over the competition is that they color-code their grates so the owner can easily identify the age of their grates which makes knowing when to replace them just as easy.
